Boring!
It's a new mask EVERY year... how dull, doing the same thing you've done every other year, for once why can't we have the same mask we had last year?
Sorry, somebody had to say it
Trolls will be trolls.
This years mask, can it be dyed?

Assuming that you haven't maxed your lucky and unlucky titles yet, you could always AFK on Nine rings AND enjoy your busy private life... or so I'm told.

@kennywong - Tokens are given as quest rewards and as drops from monsters. You can get 240 (10 short of the requirement for a mask) by doing the four fairly easy quests from Imperial Guard Hanso.

Or the fact that some people dont care about titles? I know it's pretty weird but some people actually dont care about some pixels and written lines in a video game.
And the fact that others already stated not at home so not gonna keep my PC on for the entire time.

"Missions will be available for 30 minutes"
Why is this btw? Now I have to see if I can even participate in these missions? Or maybe I don't understand it or something.

"unmelting jade waves
the relentless solstice rays
can't kill the dragon"
Is there a hidden meaning behind this?

No hidden meaning intended here! This is just a flavor haiku the team put into the notes.

I don't know why, but even though its the same each year the dragon festivals always been one of my favorite events. It's a shame so many of you take time out of your lives to annually moan about such an occurence. I guess we all celebrate in different ways...

I enjoy the Dragon Festival and Rollerbeetle racing. As I'm currently living with my GF and she loves kart based computer games, I'm showing her Rollerbeetle racing, and she's going to have a go. I'm letting her collect my victory tokens for me, so in essence she's my bot! Hehe.

Just be careful not to say as much in game. Sharing your account with another person is a banable offence.

They don't dislike the festival, many of them just feel like the festival has gone stale. There are only 4 festivals each year and nothing new is added to the Canthan ones.
There festival events and quests to take part in every year, sure. But they are the same quests. These people are not wrong in those statements and they are entitled to have an opinion about it. The dissatisfied opinions look completely justified.
Wintersday and Halloween doubled in content with the release of Nightfall and Kamadam's inclusion, a buff from EotN quests and the Dhuum introduction was tied in as well.
The Dragon Festival has been static since its inception (the "funny the first time but grating the third time" dialogue changes to reflect the "acting" doesn't count as new content). The festival also has very little to do with Canthan culture or the original reason for it's conception "to commemorate the rebirth of the Empire of the Dragon and the indomitable spirit of the Canthan people, the Dragon Festival is held every summer at Shing Jea Monastery. " A handful of small additions to reflect this would be nice. As it is, the festival merely removes large amounts of platinum from the economy via 9 rings.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Dragon Festival. I love Factions, Cantha and Shing Jea Island. I like the decorations and having a reason to explore the island again, it's a place in GW I always enjoy playing. I don't care for beetle racing (It's a poorly optimised racing game, I own Mario Kart and would rather play that) but dodge ball is kind of fun. I'm also not in denial of the fact that the festival hasn't had anything new added to it since conception.

I doubt that. See no reason to ban someone because of that.
